The Florida Pipe and Drum Academy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity. The school was established in Jacksonville, Florida for it's first session in February of 2019 and has steadily grown since. The mission of the school is to promote education and higher standards in traditional highland bagpiping, drumming, and pipe band Drum Majoring using the means of complete musical immersion. We do this by bringing cadre to the table that are nationally and internationally renowned whose focus is entirely on supporting their students to become better at their craft. We offer all levels of instruction from beginners to top level competition. The official academy runs for 5 days annually Sunday evening thru Friday afternoon in February the week of president's day with a culmination on the last Saturday of February at the NE Florida Highland Games. Other clinics are available on a request basis. We also have a focus on development of public safety musicians as they are the modern face of the pipes and drums world!  Please contact us for specific clinic arrangements!
